Oldie But Goodie: Adidas AZX ZX700Y Consortium

As we previously said somewhere in this blog that we don't necessarily write about new releases. We write about sneakers that ticks our inner neuro system that will prompt our hands to wildly reach for our wallets even at the unlikeliest times.

And this time, the itch goes to this oldie but goodie yang keren abis dari Adidas. Lo and behold, the Adidas AZX ZX700Y Consortium sweetness.

Cakep yaaahh! Agak aneh sih memang butuh pembiasaan di mata, but still it's a work of art.

No wonder I don't see the BNI tower or Monas.  This sweet little thing can still be yours today if you look deep enough in your favorite rare sneaker retailers.  I have my eyes set on one but I ain't sharing here. When it first came out, the AZX ZX700Y Consortium was retailed for about US$ 130.  And now the new, untouched ones, can be yours for about... double that price.

So you see, sneakers are good investment. Tell your partner that, or marry a fellow sneakerhead like me. HA!

adidas Original Stan Smith with Woven Upgrade

COBA LIAT INIK!

Yes, adidas Original Stan Smith will come out this year with an upgraded upper. The red-white-blue one looks like bacon strips at a glance, but trust me... you won't bacon-thought about getting a pair of these. So, that eliminates a huge bunch of people that won't buy them, jadi masih bakalan bisa terlihat unik. Yatapi kalo masuk sini itu juga... but of course there are always IG online shop. No word yet on an official release date... but you just wait, aight homie!

Kate Spade Saturday X New Balance

Some of you might not now this, but those who know me dearly know that I have another mad obsession beside sneakers and that is Kate Spade.  This being said, I must state that although KS did collaborate with Keds a few years back, I was not gaga over the collection because it's Keds and I'm not too into the brand.

But what if Kate Spade sobered up and collaborates with one of my favourite kicks ever: New Balance?

I would be hysterical and I am and I will still be until I get my hands on these.

Released under Kate Spade's sister brand, Kate Spade Saturday, the collab features Saturday's signature yellow and stripes pattern, and also wilder splash of colors. But the stripes, that's iconic.  Yang warna-warni juga lucu deh, take a look:

Yang namanya collab sama designer brand sih jelas gak bakal murah deh hasilnya.  The Kate Spade Saturday X New Balance sneaker is retailed at $95 per gorgeous pair, and is currently available at Saturday.com yang mana beloman bisa beli langsung. Tapi seller IG favorit pasti udah punya deh. Cekcek aja kali sis (iya, harganya jadi 2 yutaan). Udeeeh beli giiih ga usah ngiler gitu.

New Balance 990

Waini!! The thickness of these are about the same with the Year of Snake New Balance that I have.

Denham X Converse Jack Purcell

Everybody knows that I amm, have been and will always be in love with Converse (everyone? yea right, like I'm famous). And today I'm surprised by the awesomeness level a shoe could achieve by Denham x Converse Jack Purcell. The Amsterdam denim label, Denham just add the perfection into these. Dan ini baru keluar tanggal 7 kemaren.

The black/white one is the one I want. So if you have USD 160 lying around, I want these for Valentine's. Afraid not, for those who like calmer colors, this version also comes in white/black color.

Ain't she a beauty?! BELI DUA-DUANYA! :)

Roller Derby...but not really

Tell me where did you park your time machine, and I'm yours. Look at this baby that I just found... the Saint Laurent Court Classic High Top Rollers are a rare find. I would definitely roll with these to wherever you want me to go.

This reminds me of the good ol' days jamannya Olga Sepatu Roda, sebelum jaman roller blades. Tapi sepatu ini harganya $1,195... or about level 3 of you-can't-afford-this tier. Kalau dirupiahin sekitar 23 jutaan lah. Not a good deal, but good shoes!

Sekilas Info: Tentara Amrik Bakal Pakai New Balance atau Saucony!

(((DILANSIR)))

Hello Nike, Adidas and... what? Not them?

Nope.

While Nike and Adidas are popular, these brands have moved production mostly into Asia. Lucky for NB and Saucony, these brands are capable to produce "in-house". But hey, now that running has become a new trend, I guess everybody stepped up their game.

So which brand's gonna be chosen to equip the new recruits of U.S. military? NB or Saucony? We'll have to wait. Sambil nunggu, mau colongan dikit kak, boleh ya.  Lagi napsir indang:

NB 420, come to mama!!
 Oh gajian, segeralah datang.
